Benban, Egypt – Commissioning of the World’s Largest Solar Power Plant
Following a 13-month construction phase, we successfully completed four projects simultaneously, with a total power output of 230 MWp. In total, 30 individual plants have been constructed in Egypt’s Western Desert, from which power outputs of up to 1,650 MWp can be expected. The total project phase lasted more than two years. From 2017 to 2018, we implemented the Infinity 50 project, and from 2018 to 2019, the projects Phoenix, BSEP 50, and MMID.
This has resulted in the Benban solar park, the largest solar plant in the world.
