You will find Conecon wherever the world's largest solar power plants are being built. As a plant installer, we are responsible for constructing photovoltaic plants in the megawatt range. Our many years of international experience, combined with in-depth industry expertise, enable us to plan and construct major projects to our customers´ utmost satisfaction. As a Cold Commissioning Technician, you will support our team in testing and preparing photovoltaic power plants before grid connection. Your main focus will be on measurements, inspections, and structured documentation on site.
- Perform cold commissioning activities on PV plants prior to grid connection
- Carry out DC and AC measurements (insulation tests, string testing, grounding measurements, etc.)
- Inspect cabling, components, and installations in accordance with technical specifications
- Conduct functional tests of inverters, protection systems, and monitoring equipment
- Support testing of SCADA and OT systems
- Record, analyze, and document all measurement results
- Prepare and maintain test and commissioning reports
- Support defect identification and follow-up
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Initial to several years of experience in PV, commissioning, or plant testing is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of DC PV systems, AC grid connection, and inverters
- Knowledge of protection systems, measuring equipment, and testing procedures is a plus
- Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good English skills (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
- Structured, careful, and reliable working style

- Willingness to travel mainly within Europe
