You will find Conecon wherever the world's largest solar power plants are being built. As a plant installer, we are responsible for constructing photovoltaic plants in the megawatt range. Our many years of international experience, combined with in-depth industry expertise, enable us to plan and construct major projects to our customers´ utmost satisfaction.
To support our operations team, beginning at the earliest possible date, we are looking for a qualified and dedicated FLEET MANAGER (PLANT & VEHICLES).
- Manage the full lifecycle of the company fleet, including passenger vehicles, transporters, buses, excavators, skid steer lifter, telescope lifter, ramming machines etc. (from procurement to disposal)
- Plan and coordinate the deployment of construction machinery across project sites in alignment with site management and operations
- Ensure availability, maintenance, servicing, and repair of all vehicles and construction equipment
- Oversee workshops, inspections, and servicing schedules to guarantee operational readiness
- Continuous cost monitoring of the entire fleet
- Support procurement processes, tenders, and supplier selection
- Coordinate and manage external service providers such as leasing companies, workshops, and manufacturers
- Monitor service quality, timelines, and performance of suppliers, including handling escalations and claims
- Maintain and update all fleet and equipment data in internal systems and tools
- Prepare reports and decision-making data for management
- Drive digitalization and automation of fleet-related processes
- Ensure compliance with all legal and safety requirements (e.g., inspections, driver checks, documentation)
- Support audits and continuously improve safety and compliance standards
- Proven experience in fleet management, ideally including construction equipment and/or commercial vehicles
- Technical understanding of construction machinery (e.g., excavators, cranes, heavy equipment) is highly desirable

- Experience in managing maintenance, repairs, and operational readiness of mixed fleets
- Strong analytical skills and high proficiency in cost control and reporting
- Fluency in Romanian and English is mandatory
- Additional languages are considered a strong advantage
- Team player with the ability to work in an international environment
- High level of commitment, reliability, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites (national and international)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
- Confident in dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Experience with fleet management systems and/or ERP tools
- Knowledge of process optimization and digital tools/workflows is an advantage
